I've installed BitTorrent on my SuSE 9.0 system but I can't get it to work.
What I have done so far.

- Installed Python 2.3
- Installed wxPython 2.3
- Installed BiTornado 0.2.0

added the line : application/x-bittorrent; /usr/local/BitTornado-CVS/btdownloadgui.py %s; test=test -n "$DISPLAY" into the etc/mailcap file.

Also eventualy made the fileassociation .torrent to btdownloadgui.py into my Mozilla Browser.
When I doubleklick on a .torent link a window appears but disapears even faster and nothing happens.
In console I get this:
linux:/usr/BitTornado-CVS # ./btdownloadgui.py
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0

So what did I do wrong, forgot or misunderstood?
I don't know any other way to start the BitTornado GUI...
I'm trying to get BitTorrent to work now for 4 hours, but nothing seems to help.
I hope somebody can help me out.

Try to use python 2.2 and wxpython 2.2, also remember use the develop tool. if you really can not make it work. I use 2.3 b4, but it got the same problem. can not make it work, then i downgrade to 2.2, then everything is work.
