hi, i'm fairly new bittorrent user. i was initially having problems with it and then i found out how to forward the ports on my router. i was finally able to get a good dl rate (about 30-100 kb/s) and a green light, but about one hour into the dl my internet connection suddenly went dead. the signal from my router was fine, at least that's what was displaying, but when i looked up my ip address it read "0.0.0.0". i restarted and everything was fine so i started bittornado but the same problem happened again. i don't know if it's because i have a dynamic ip address set on my router or if bittorrent is using up too much of my bandwidth? if it's the latter, i read about limiting the rate of uploads but i don't know how or how much?
does anyone have any answers?

here's what i use:
-windows xp
-bit tornado experimental client (should i use the stable client instead?)
-cable modem
-d-link DI-624
