 Post subject: What's this afv file?

there's an .afv file that always accompanies my downloads. what does it do and will it affect how i share if it's deleted.

BitTornado doesn't create those sorts of files; assuming that's the client you're using, those files must be part of the downloads. I have no idea what they're for.

Guest, check again, isn't this file .sfv instead .afv?

SFV means Simple File Verification - it is used so you can verify if all files in the package are downloaded fine. It has nothing to do with any BT application.
