I would like to be able to change the announce inteval, just cut it by a few minutes so that I don't get dropped by the tracker, missing out on the overall stats. How can I do this? This doen't happen that often, maybe ones or twice every 24 hours. BTW I'm using T-0.3.4. |

To put it simply -- don't. The client will announce every 5 minutes if you don't have enough connections; otherwise, it will set its announce interval to what the TRACKER suggests. People changing the interval may overload the tracker and possibly get themselves banned from the tracker. |

I'll soon get banned from the tracker anyway, because I can't maintain my ratio. I really need to stay connected to the tracker. Uploading 1 GB and get credit for 200 MB really sucks. I have a lot of peers and my upload is going flat out. does the client time out, or what? And if it's so, is it possible to get it to retry. |

I received a warning from my favorite torrent site that my BitTornado client was reannouncing far too often. I asked the admin how often and he said "High 40's, low 50's". Their preferred interval is 30 minutes. Is it possible to change this so I don't get banned? |
