Okay, I've just started using BitTorrent, specifically BitTornado. I read through all the forums and got the port forwarding thing down and am getting decent download speeds. So, I found a rather large ISO to download and after waiting a few hours the download was completed. However, it was saved as a torrent file rather than an ISO. If I re-download the torrent off of a search engine, and choose the file that I downloaded to be resumed, BitTornado tells me the file has successfully downloaded. When I check the file under Windows Explorer, it is the right size and name. However, it is listed as a torrent file rather than an ISO and cannot be opened in the way that an ISO can usually be opened. So, I am at a loss, What did I do wrong??? Is it possible I just got a bad file?? I don't know if I placed this post in the right section, or even the right forum, but any help would be appreciated as I am a complete n00b to BitTorrent.

sounds very strange... but if the extension is .torrent , you can rename it to .iso , then the file can be opened as a iso file.
