Hi,

a few minutes ago I got this strange idea. Let's image you're going on vacation for like a few days. It's not that long, and you can afford leaving the system running on plan a start with a BIOS option, well anyway: You are used to download your weekly favorite TV show using a BitTorrrent client. Assume you know the URL of the next show because all that happens is a change somewhere from 1x01 to 1x02 and the same tracker is used all the time.

Wouldn't it be nice if one could start BitTorrent with that URL and it retries it for example like every hour until it succeeds?

I mean it would make the network even more responsive (files spreading faster) and the average time a client is running even AFTER a download is complete would rise too.
