OK for testing purpose i used a .exe file:

First i made made a torrent using MakeTorrent v2.0. Then i moded the torrent for web seed using link you gave me. In the field webseed i used the URL to seed.php. When i try to upload the moded torrent using addseed.php it give me error: "Could not decode torrent data.". I opened the moded torrent file in notepad saw it just looks like ur. I donno what the problem is. I changed real to this "mysql_escape_string".

I just tried the same thing with that .php script and got a "Something bad happened while loading the file" error in TorrentSpy.

I don't know what caused it, but there is a problem somewhere.

When uploading the .torrent I got "There was an error handling your uploaded torrent. The parser didn't like it."

Hopefully, this will get fixed soon.

Anyway, webseed is an excellent idea! I hope it will get included into the official BT protocol specs so more clients can support it. :P

Made it to work (installed python and executed btsethttpseeds.py).

Only "problem" is that webseed is not visible as a seed on the tracker.

Aslo i want it to seed the file even if its incomplete!

What do you mean, seed even if it's incomplete? Seeding is uploading the complete file. If you mean uploading, then you're already doing that. If you mean uploading but not downloading, then we just have to wait until SHAD0W implements a download rate limiter - set it to 0 when you want to do this.

Post subject:  STILL HAVING PROBLEMS

as many have mentioned before me, the web seed maker makes torrents that basically dont' work with any seeding systems out there, i tried numerous including suprnova.

how do you use the python script?! i downloaded python and i can't just "double click" on the script and just have it magically work! and i tried using command line but i keep getting syntax error even though i'm following instructions exactly. the radlight instructions, i'm sorry to say, are pretty bad.

can anyone please help me?!
