 Post subject: How to dl faster

Is there a way to download faster than like 5kbs or so? I'm using bittorrent for the first time, and using a T1 connection. I'm surprised at how slow the dl is.

Actually, nevermind. I just saw that the more peers there are the faster the dl. Just wondering, but if I seeded, does the dl go faster?
