I forwarded 6881 and a buddy checked it for me and its open, and my port range on BT is 6881-6884 but still getting yellow light and real slow DL speeds, whats up i thought torrents where fast

Are you using a firewall?

You can also try another range of ports 'cause some trackers ban specific ranges. I think 6881 i banned most places, but of course you would've been told throught an error message from the tracker.

It may just be that the people who are uploading to you are slow.

Also the more pieces of a torrent you are downloading at a time, the faster it will be, but that relies on lots of people seeding those pieces back after they have downloaded them. So if possible leave your client running after you have finished downloading so others can download from you. :)
