Goal:
To be able to telnet into a system, start, and importatnly monitor a torrent's progress from the command line.

I found a page that lists many commanline options for the btdownloadgui.exe, and I can start a torrent from the command line, however I cannot terminate it remotely or monitor its progress.

I do not want to use RDP!!!!

I suspect I will have to run from the python source, and may have something to do with the *curses* file.

A) Is the above possible on windows?

B) If not, is it possible on Linux?

Thanks in advance for any help.

& Thanks shadow for an excellent client.

btdownloadheadless.py/btlaunchmany.py on Windows. Those and btdownloadcurses/btlaunchmanycurses.py on *nix. You'll need to install Python.
