I can't seem to install.....
I tried doing emerge bittorando but I get an error:
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "bittorando"

So I downloaded the gzip file and extracted the files....but now I'm a little lost as what to do now.....

Can someone help?

(I don't have mozilla or anything on my gentoo box, just links)

Thanks!

Do you need a gui in order to use bit tornado to download? (P.S. I wanna install bit tornado to download stuff, not to be a seeder)

I could probably find you the command for GUI

Code:
emerge screen ssh
/etc/init.d/sshd start

-on windows download putty (google -> putty)
login with your user and pass
-on unix
Code:
ssh -l YOUR.USERNAME your.machine.address

after login type
Code:
screen -S bt1

now u have screen session opened and u can run a bittornado in it,
to disconnect from this session press CTRL - A and D
to connect again to this session type
Code:
screen -r bt1

screen session stays alive when you disconnect from it so bittornado will run even if your are not logged into your machine

this "bt1" is just an example you an call your session whatever you like
you can start as many screen sessions as you like
to view a list of all your screen sessions type
Code:
screen -ls
