This error stops bittorrent but i have more than 20GB space left !?

How big is the file and at what point does it stop at?

there are 2 files: splinter cell: pandora tomorrow: 2,6 GB
larry magna cum laude: 2,5 GB
splinter cell stops at 399,92MB (15,1%) and
larry stops at 542,42MB (21,6%)

What OS? I've seen disk space calculation problems on pre-XP OSes, even NT and 2K. Try duplicating a large file to fill some space, then resume the download.
