When I try to install any version of bittornado I get an error saying "Error opening or reading btdownloadgui please click abort or retry" I get this no matter what version I try to install, can anyone suggest any solutions to my problem? Thanks in advance.

I got the same problem when I tried to update to the latest version. So then I tried to reinstal the old version and get the same error on this one too... !!

Just updated to XP SP2

ahhh....

btdownloadgui was still running in the background (even after uninstal)
Restart and everything went OK !! :-)
