I've downloaded the tar file and unpackaged it, but when I run:

python setup.py install

I get the following:

running install
error: invalid Python installation: unable to open /usr/lib/python2.3/config/makefile (no such file or directory)

So, upon discovering that /python2.3 was completely empty, I am now thinking my mandrake install cds didn't include this package. I'm gonna go ahead and download python again and wxpython too, I guess.
If anyone has any ideas, please lend them to me.
