Post subject:  got the green light but get bumped off COX internet
i got the green light no problems. have it set to port 9250 runs fine for on the average 10mins then it bumps my cable modem offline. (makes solid light turn to a flashing light)

this didnt use to happen to me

any ideas from other cox users?

Oh yea I loved those days when my old ass Cable modem kept crashing while using BT. I now use a Motorola Surfboard 5100 no problems ever since :D. BTW if you have a verizon in your neighborhood see if they are doing FIOS (Fiber Optic System) God... 15 MBS down and 2 up (Drools).

are you suggesting my linksys modem. which was working fine till i moved a month ago and still with COX now decides to not work correctly.

i dont particularly wanna shell out cash for a new modem
