Plz tell me what a w4r3z site is? I thought it was a site containing illegal and/or criminal info.

Also could I have the complete address for REDACTED? I've seen it mentioned but can't seem to find the correct address.

I didn't even know it was a real word, I thought you were making it up. It's not under then cambridge dictionary, but is under dictionary.com

yea, pretty much its a type of site with http/ftp downloads of retail apps,games,etc, for free ..... which is illegal.

my advice: avoid like the plauge. not only are they illegal, but most nowadays you have to put out substantial effort in order to actually find a link that works, and some are more like ad fronts w/no real working links at all. in general they're ridiculously full of pop-up ads, self installing spyware/adware, and porn practically everywhere. not only that, but there's no garuantee against trojans,hijackers,worms, and other viruses.

i think they pretty much died when p2p gained more widespread use.

ack! i guess you could consider *some* torrent sites as 'warez' sites.
didnt think about it. was talkin' 'bout oldschool warez sites.
