I am a new bittornado user (reccommended by a friend) and cannot figure out how to get my files to share. I open the program and all it asks for is a torrent file. Now I have lots of files on my hd, but have no idea how to change their format to a torrent one. Also, i cannot figure out how to get them available for others to use. Any help would be much appreciated. Mel |

Hi You have to make a torrent file and upload it to a tracker site to be able to share your files. (You will have to find a site that shares the types of files you have ie games, utilities etc). I have not done this much myself, a few times, I used the program Make Torrent to do it. You will have to know the announce URL and tracker site details. The torrent tracker website will probably give you pretty good instruction on how to create the torrent too as well as details. (I created a torrent for a while, that is why the details are a little sketchy) |
