Bittornado, Debian Linux. Installation was perfectly simple, the problem I'm having is usage. btdownloadheadless simply will not run in the background. If I start it with "&", it reports "stopped" and will not run. If I start it, then CTRL-Z "bg" it also reports "stopped". I've looked at all the "tutorials" and they deal with downloading/uploading. Nothing about getting btdownloadheadless to function at all. I've tried "screen btdownloadcurses ..." but for some reason screen is failing. A simple command-line example would be great, that's all I actually need. Bob- |

Post subject: | running btdownloadheadless in background |

I used this in fc4 nohup btdownloadheadless whatever.torrent and used the default redirect of nohup.out and then closed the term window. Checking in top I found an instance of btdownloadheadless running and was able to monitor download progress with tail -f nohup.out . |
