Hello everyone. I'm quite the incompetent here as I'm new to all this and just getting started. I was finally able to download a file (only took a week at a lowly average of 20 - 30KB/s) and would like to know how I "give back" this file to the same BitTorrent community.

I understand I have to "seed" but geez, I simply don't get how to do this. Can someone point me in the right direction? TIA!

Appaller

after you finish downloading a torrent file i.e. icon goes white and it says 100%, notice that your still uploading, that is what they call 'seeding' (uploading with 100% complete).

the best thing to do is upload the file back to the network with a upload/download ratio of at least 1:1 or more, witch meens you have uploaded 100% + 10% more then the total data you have downloaded i.e.

1:1 = 110%
1:2 = 120%
ect...
