Hey all, i am mostly a window/gentoo user but i just recently got knoppix. I am running it rite now, and i am having a little trouble installing bittornado. To make matter worst i don't know if i have python 2.0+ or not. And if i did, how do i install it? do i just simply go ./compile then make then make install... and that will be it? or is their something else... ? and if dont' have python 2.0+ can someone suggest as to how i can get it and to work.

No need to compile it. I downloaded the latest experimental, extracted it, then moved it to my home folder. After that i added that btdownloadgui.py to the association for torrents and it worked. Err, Sorry forgot to add something before this, try to open the normal bt client by typing btguidownload in the terminal, if you get something like "you need XXX" just copy the package name then use "sudo apt-get install" then the package name and press enter.
