whilst doing a massive download (farcry) I got to about 70% when it came up with the following error
error message IOerror-errno13 permission denied.....do you and can you help as it taken me over 3 days to get here. very pi**ed about this.
any suggestions

did you max out the Hard Drive?
Were you downloading to a shared drive?

no man ive 120gig loads of space other dls are running fine (one other)

ya i get permission error almost everytime now...

I've found that usually you get permission denied errors for one of these two causes:

1. The BT client did not close normally and the OS thinks that the files are still open and being used by the client. A reboot may solve this issue. Alternatively, you may wish to move the files elsewhere (that is, to a new folder).

2. For some reason the folder or the files have become write-protected. You may wish to check your folder and file properties.

Some other, more esoteric causes may include file/folder corruption (I suggest a scandisk), client corruption (you may have to re-install the client), or changes in your network properties.
