Also, try testing it with multipacked malware and watch that detection rate drop wayyyyy down.

Post subject:  Spyware? Never seen it been using Tornado since 1st release

Maybe the file he DLed had spyware in it? Or maybe just the site he DL's from...either way I think Degreez has the best client and had no problems...except when I checked that Ipv6 thingy! But that's my fault..lol!

*Off Topic*

Is there anyway to fix upload ratio? No! Ok, just asking!

Think... U gotta use your brains motherfuckers!

Flamebait of the finest quality.
Anyway all that is wrong, Java was developed in 1991.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_programming_language
C++ is older and object oriented too, but that was not the first object oriented language either...
The first OS was not programmed in Java, wich is impossible anyway since Java did not exist back then. I think there is no OS in existence even today that is programmed in Java either and I doubt there ever will be one. Java is just not designed for that purpose.
The Internet and Webbrowsers are older, GUIs are a lot older than Java...
The original Bittorrent client was written in python, BitTornado is as well.
Java is a nice language, but get your facts sorted out.
Oh and by the way, since you do not seem to know what you are talking about I will mention it just in case: Java and Javascript are not the same thing.

This is how you stay virus and spyware free:

After installation of the OS, before you connect to the Internet set up your Computer correctly:
http://www.ntsvcfg.de/ntsvcfg_eng.html
Set a password for Administrator.
Connect to the Internet and run Windows update.
Download Firefox and Thunderbird.
Install them and do not ever use IE or Outlook again, exept for Windows update. You might as well remove all the links to it, with the newer service packs you can hide IE very well, too bad it can not be uninstalled.
Get a virusscanner and Adaware, just to be safe. You will not need them if you use some common sense, like not installing programs from some obviously spyware-infected website.

Post subject:  Sigh....

It's gettoing really evil.

As reported, software is not waiting for other software to installed before activating it's spyware.

SPyware can show up thru browser security holes. All it takes is one typo, an dpresto, you've goen to a apage which looks liek the one you meant to go to, but is using an IE security hole to install a bit of spyware witohut interaction from you. They can ccorrupt your registry sucvh that the entire internet becomes a truested site, no matter waht your settings are! There's software that will do notign but change your homepage and add said page to your trusted sites, so when you next open your browser, instant spyware.

And things are already getting WORSE. YOu can set the kill bit and block activex programs from installing. BUt if you block AT-Games, you'll be in for a rude awakening next time you go to a site that tries to force it on you. you get endless popu;s saying you must click yes. It has a javascript that WILL NOT TERMINATE UNTIL YOU INSTALL THEIR SPYWARE. you have to kill the process with nt/200/xp, and can't do ANYTHING about it if your are in 9x! Because you blocked it, you can't close the browser window while it's trying to prompt you, because the prompt is skipped, and the "you must click yes" box keeps stealing your focus.

Bottom line is SHadow's client is clean. YOu got it elsewhere. EIther from a trojaned install, or some other software was lying in wait.

Oh, and if you'r having trouble with your internet, the cable internet technician might try to set your security level to LOW before visiting their test site. If they do that, PULL THE PLUG! All it takes is 5 seconds, and you've got so much spyware it will take HOURS to fix!

You probably downloaded Azureus from a bad source. Azureus also does not have any viruses, trojans or spyware in it.

I still use the old version 5.8.11(dl from this website) , it serves me well and i do not crave for more.
But yesterday after a online spywarescan at Trent micro/pccillin i found this:
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/graywar ... BADBITOR.A

Can someone explain to me why certain parts of the shadows install are reported as being spy/ad ware BADBITOR.A ?

After a scan end clicking "clean" my torrent client 5.8.11 did not work anymore and i had to reinstall.
So trendmicro certainly uninstalls/cleans the shadows client, why?

thnx 4 reading, greetz
