 Post subject: Download Corrupted!?
PostPosted: Wed Mar 24, 2004 7:05 am
hi

i am using bittornado and while downloading a bigger file (4.2GB) i had this error sometimes.
it's quite annoying cause you have to restart the torrent manually again.
i've had this error before, but only very very seldom - during this download it occured quite sometimes... :?

btw what exactly does this error mean and what causes it?!
couldn't the client restart itself after this error? why has it to be done manually?! :?:

thx ruebenschweinchen

Try running Memtest on your machine. That error, from a quick glance of the code, indicates that something the client previously downloaded and hashed, now hashes differently, which can only occur if the contents changed when it was stored in memory, which points right to bad memory.
