Im behind a quite restrictive firewally/proxy system, but ive been able to download for quite some time. I just installed the new bittorrent client on this machine (been using my laptop) to try and download a file i couldnt download on laptop either. It said Too many levels of remote in path on my laptop and i wanted to see if a new version of bittorrent would help. I started it up here and it couldnt connect so i used that http_proxy enviroment variable trick and it goes through the proxy now but then the tracker rejects me. Can anyone help?
