How come my upload speed is always 30 to 120 kbs, but my download is either 1 to 3 kbps? I using a T1 connection, shouldn't i get faster download speed? I thought download speed and upload speed are nearly equal, but it is not!! Is it because no one wants to share files?

Download speed depends on how fast the peers and seeds you are connected to can upload. In your case, looks like you are just able to connect to 1 peer only, and that peer has slow upload. And that peer and the others are probably firewalled without using port forwarding.

bittornado is slower for me than the last experimental version 5.8.11 (whatever the version number was). I kept testing both versions numerous times on the same torrents and bittornado is always slower, speeds are around 10-20KB/sec but as soon as I install 5.8.11 my speeds go past 100KB/sec.
