heres a solution from an anonymouse user

In the IMON setup of NOD32, go to the Miscellaneous tab and Edit the Exclusion option, and add your BT program to the excluded list.

it works perfectly, now im hitting beyond 60peers with no freezes

Thanks for the tip. I never had this problem because I have IMON disabled because I don't use any POP3 email accounts.

NOD32 is an antivirus program. Its one of the best antivirus programs out there. But Kaspersky is still the best, after Kaspersky comes NOD32

Ahhhhhhhh

Know i know why BT freeze !!!

I never thought that it could have been due to NOD32.

I assumed that it was because i set my pairs limit to unlimited

I should have come to this forum sooner.

Thanks a lot for the solution :D

Ah, just figured out this by myself 30 min ago, and was gonna post it here now.

Atleast this worked for me, I got the "freeze" again today..
and only thing I had installed was NOD32, uninstalled and no more freeze..

but atleast now I know I can install it again and just disable that IMON thingie..

thanks

Thanks for the Tip.

Just reformatted my PC yesterday and decided to go in favour of NOD32 instead of Norton....Installed Bit Tornado 0.3.9a and, though it didnt exactly freeze or crash, the CPU usage went rocketing up. Thought it just wasnt stable on my PC so went for the 0.2.0...Nope, CPU usage still rocketing sky high.

And i had two torrents open...One with 3 seeds, and the other with 58. It was only the 58 one which ever used over 90 on CPU. Ive added BT to the eclusions list, so im hopefully my problem is solved.

Thanks again :)
