I could'nt figure how to use the --max_upload_rate command line parameter. I tried with every rate setting mode, but the client (S-5.8.11) seems to ignore the parameter. What am I doing wrong ?

Try adding --responsefile to the command.

I forgot to tell that everything works perfectly except for the speed limit. The client starts the torrent specified in the command line, saves the file as asked, but uses the default speed parameter, ignoring the command line parameter.

Sorry, but currently my GUI client ignores the command-line setting.

Was this fixed in the new version? Is there any intent on fixing this in a upcoming release? For those of us that do use the command line from time to time its a bit of a itch that needs scratching :) Great work!

It won't be fixed in any versions using the current GUI. It may be fixed in versions past that point.
