I keep getting the error message

IO Error (Errno 28) No space left on device and the BT fails. Generally this is when I have reached about 90% of a 4.5gb download

Any ideas

How much free disk space do you have?

Also, is this occuring on a fat32 partition?

About 85gb of hard drive space left

Yes it is fat32 although not partitioned

FAT32 has a maximum file size of 4 gig.

I have the same thing, it's a 4.5G file. Yes, i'm on a fat32 partition, is there anyway i can change the partition without formatting the hard drive? Just like you could change from the original fat to fat 32 in windows 98??

Be sure to backup your whole harddrive first to prevent disaster. You never know when they will occur.
