hi all

im getting a problem. I run a torrent ... goes fine for a little while then it just freezes, the time stops ... everything stops. The window is still active though cos I can pause it and then close it. If I restart it, I can download fine for a little while then it freezes again. The pattern goes on and on and I cant figure out the problem :/

anyone know whats up ?

regarding :-

BitTorrent keeps crashing/freezing!
BitTorrent crashes my PC!
Update your network card drivers.
If that doesn't work, go to Prefs, Advanced, and reduce "Max peer connections" to 60 or below.



in the faq, I have tried this before I made the post (sorry, shoudve said) but this has not made any change what so ever to the problem.

Any more ideas ?

oh and also, Ive scanned my computer for viruses using the latest panda definitions ... also made a adaware scan to check for spyware and ads etc. found nothing suspicious that would interrupt bt.
