is this a ram problem or a source problem

It just means that of the last 256Kb (usually) you downloaded, at least one bit is corrupt because it got flipped somewhere along the line.

Or a bad peer sending out corrupt data, or if you keep getting it over and over and restarting the client doesn't help, it may possibly indicate a cable/DSL router that's corrupting your download. It's not caused by bad RAM (at least, not usually); bad RAM will cause the downloader to halt and say "download corrupted" (though other factors can do that too).

alright thanks, this was the first and so far last torrent it has happend to me on so i guess it was just bad client data from someone

A similar thing happens to me on every download I'm using a cable modem the light is green what can I do to fix this?
