Hi i have this java application i wrote myself to aid me in downloading of some torrents by itself. But i got a problem is that i can't find a way to get response from bittornado to tell me the file is complete. I worte this cause i'm away most of the time(weeks or months) but if i leave it on for too long it will choke my network after very long time. So can give me some tips? :D

Bittornado is written in python and the source is available. Python's a pretty simple language to work with, so you shouldn't have much trouble hacking this sort of thing in to the client.

Just remember: A torrent is "done" when A.) 100% of the file has been downloaded and B.) Your ratio is greater than 1.1 and there is at least one seed *or* your upstream usage is less than half of max there are more seeds than leechers.
