 Post subject: slow download speeds

can anyone give advice as to why my download speeds are so slow, i am using bit tornado and find i like this torrent client the best , i hav a 2 meg connection with BY. but am only getting download speeds of ... now just checked and am hitting 180kbps, so ignore me sorry....

looked at wrong speed setting im only getting 40kbps download and upload is 25kbps , what can i do to prefernces to speed up downloads
