Let's say I only have two instances of btdownloadgui.exe open in Windows. How come it shows up more than two times in the task manager? I'm using Windows XP Pro.

This happens with me also. I click the 'Finish' button to close a torrent, but it's still running in the background, and it never fully closes unless I choose to 'End Task'.

In your preferences, top left, uncheck "minimize to system tray". There is a problem exiting the application if it is minimized to the system tray. The author is supposed to fix it in the next release.

This is in tornado release 0.3.9? Because after installing the alpha version I have been having the same problem!

Thanx for giving us the news about it being fixed!

Please see "GUI vanishes, but download goes on..." for a solution...

rac^it^up :)

PS if this seems too difficult, you could just untick the "minimize to system tray" box!

Well that's shocking. An hour ago I closed down BitTornado and there were 8 processes in the task manager!

You can always go back to the old version 0.3.8, that one works.

0.3.9 seems broken in a major way... i'd use 0.3.8, this is a working link for it (MD5sum matches with the one that was listed on the original page):

ftp://ftp.freenet.de/pub/.disk0/filepil ... nstall.exe

Thanks for that link. I was wondering where I could find a copy of 0.3.8.
