I'm using 5.8.11
I try to start a download.
The download screen starts up then I get:
ERROR [Time] - problem getting response info - [Errno 2] No such file of directory: 'C:\\Documents and Settings

After that point it is cut off. I can't resize the window to see whatelse it says, as it just disappears. This has happen with the last 2 versions of S.E. I have used. It was working fine, just a file going for 48+ hours. Then I rebooted. Now its all screwed.

Any suggestions?

download the torrent file onto your hard drive and then opening it. I had the same problem.
