 Post subject: losing information

HI, Was just wondering if anyone can help with this? I had to restart my computer, so I paused the torrent I was downloading it was about 80%, and restarted, when I resumed the download it only reads it as 1.1% complete. It has done this before, this time I was only downloading selected files/songs from the torrent if that makes a difference? Is there any way to retrieve the information? Thanks for any help.
