The part that im realy interested in is whether a particular torrent needs to be registered with the tracker in order to connect to it or if it can be any tracker regardless. Like for example can i change the announce url of the torrent to any other announce url and would it continue to work? Any answers are highly appriciated. |

If there is another tracker available serving the same torrent, you can use the external announce feature under the advanced field, but i never tried that myself. |

That depends on the tracker's configuration. If a specific tracker allows anyone to announce anything to it, then you can have any torrent announced to that specific tracker. If the specific tracker has restrictions on which torrents it tracks, then you would have to ask the tracker admin for permission to have specific torrents tracked on their tracker. |
