Yea here too. But cancel button and finish button.

WinXP Pro. SP2

ATI Radeon 9200 - Omega 2.6.12 Drivers

Only happens with 0.3.12. 0.3.11 works fine.

Well at least it does not stick in task manger now like 0.3.11. :P

Finish Error:

Application popup: btdownloadgui.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x018cce31" referenced memory at "0xa06f5008". The memory could not be "written".

Cancel Error:

Application popup: btdownloadgui.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x00866a0f" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

00866A0F add byte ptr [eax],al

;)

um n/m appears to change every time..

another one:

Application popup: btdownloadgui.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x008bb365" referenced memory at "0x00002782". The memory could not be "read".

008BB365 call dword ptr [eax+4]

Crashes for me too, I can reproduce it every single time.

I use WinXP SP2 with a Geforce3Ti200 Card and NVidia videodrivers v61.77.

In my case bT crashes ONLY when the torrent closed has not completed downloading. (I use the X button not the finish) If the download completed, closing bT gives NO problem.

WinXP SP2.
GF2-MX video card.

Sorry, forgot to add that although bT crashes, the torrents auto-resume with no problems.

Same "problem" with XP Pro SP2, GeForce 6800 Athlon64 3400+

I say "problem" because, as was said before by others, it doesn't stick in the task list and it doesn't affect other torrents open and doesn't affect resuming. Mine does get the error when the torrent is complete or incomplete. Just whenever the Cancel button is hit. So, as problems go, it's a minor one.

You can find links to that one in several topics :)

Btw, 0.3.12 works perfectly here (also XP)

Go into AntiVirus Options, Internet Worm Protection and click Program Control. Find and REMOVE the btdownloadgui entry. Then click Add, browse to the btdownloadgui.exe (usually in Program Files/BitTornado) and set to Permit.

I have to do this every time I install a new version of BitTornado. Guess it's just Norton AntiVirus not recognising it's the same exe or something...?

Great client, Shadow - I get the crash on Cancel thing too, but hey - at least it doesn't stay in Task Manager!!

Alright, now the crashing seems like a random event. Incomplete downloads can also close with no crashing, completed downloads can also close with crashing. Unlike what I noticed earlier with only complete downloads not crashing.

But as usual, nothing wrong with the data downloaded.
No longer sticks to the task manager.

Looks like a problem with XP. I use 2K Pro and it works fine for me. No errors at all. :)

I thought it was XP only too, but it happens on my Win2k Pro (SP4) box.
