If I have downloaded part of a torrent in Azureus, and I want to stop using it and finish it in BT, is it possible? And is the vice-versa true?

Yes you can but you will lose some of the piece that you download from Azureus...sometimes can be a lot sometimes don't.

And yes it work vice-versa.

I did this for Starcraft and it worked fine.

You need to go into the hidden folder Application Data/Azureus and find the torrent you were using there, along with the directory for the file you were downloading. Put them in Bittornado and it'll go fine.
