Shouldnt it been downloading a lot faster, it says that my total speed is 830kB/s but my download speed is only 8kB/s

Whats up with that

Being connected to lots of peers won't help if you're firewalled or flooding your upstream. In fact, it can be detrimental.

The total speed is the assumed overall upload speed of the peers you are conected to. Divide the total speed by the number of peers and you get your assumed average download speed, but i would'nt rely on that numbers to much :wink: .
