Got this message from running btdownloadlibrary.py:
"from: can't read /var/mail/BitTornado"
... and the question is: Why does it want to access mail folder/s?

I believe this can be reproduced on any BT client that still has the .py files.

There was an earlier post regarding BT sending mails or something, but it didn't have any good explanation...

P.S. I have no idea what btdownloadlibrary.py is for, but it was there and I poked at it, so..[/b]

Yikes! WTF...

"btdownloadlibrary.py" is a relic from the old version. The file is nearly empty, though, which means that error is coming from elsewhere in the system, and I have *no* clue where... I'll look into it.

<uau> TheSHAD0W: that's because btdownloadlibrary.py doesn't specify an interpreter
<uau> so python is not involved at all
<TheSHAD0W> So why does it pick up /var/mail?
<uau> "from - print names of those who have sent mail"
<uau> the first line after comments is "from BitTornado import PSYCO"
<TheSHAD0W> Ahhhhh...
<TheSHAD0W> Okay.
<uau> it's executed as a shell script
<TheSHAD0W> Thanks.

So basically, adding: "#!/usr/bin/env python" to the beginning of the file would suppress that error. Frankly, I'm not even going to bother.
