Alright, here goes...
Downloaded and began using BT. Got 85% of a 4-gig file, then when I wake up and check this morning, I see the following error in RED:
IO Error (Errno 13) Permission denied.
I've tried opening ports 6881-6889 AND completely shutting down my firewall (Norton). No dice. Perhaps I don't have the network settings done correctly on my computer? Anyway, I've got quite a few files I'd like to share, this was simply my first attempt at using bit torrent (saw a great file and decided to download). I hope I've not been labeled a leech? Oh, the yellow light never turned off during almost 48 hours of continued connection. HELP! What am I doing wrong? I'm not a leech and would really like to share some of the great files I've saved over the last several years, as well as find some!

Win XP home
P4 3.0GHZ, 1 gig ddr 400
DSL conn (1.5-2.1mbps avg throughput)
Plenty of HD space

Any/all help would be SINCERELY appreciated. Hate being the newbie.
Thanks, all.

Disable Windows' indexing agent, restart the computer, then resume your download. The easiest way to disable indexing agent is to open My Computer, right-click on your hard drive and select Properties, General tab, uncheck "Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching".
