Everything was working normally before. No problems with my firewall. But ever since i switched from AVG free anti-virus to NOD32 i've been experiencing sudden freezes on when downloading a torrent.

- the whole bittornado gui just freezes.
- I hit the pause button and then on the resume button and still nothing happens.
- I now have to close the program, reopen the tracker to continue the download and wait for yet another random minutes for it to freeze again.
- btw I'm using the stable version 0.3.7 for windows.

has anyone else experience this kind of problem? can any one suggest on how i can fix it? many thanks.

Some people have posted that you have to add btdownloadgui to the IMON exception list and possibly also the AMON exception list. See this forum post.

ty ty ty ty, it seems to be working now. Never know untill after an hour of downloading, even thou I already have a plan b for it just in case it still freezes.
