everytime i close bittornado the amount done resets itself to 0.5%. The top of the window reads 11.58mb while the downloaded bit says 31.69mb. There has be no data discarded. Why does it say this, does this matter (has the extra 20mb been deleted) and what do i do to correct it?

BitTornado will only retain checked whole chunks of a torrent, not partials. Since chunksize for torrents over 100 MB size are often 1 MB to 4 MB in size, this means alot of data can get lost because most chunks weren't completed when you exit.
