I'm trying to use ALTQ not to cap the maximum upload, but to prioritize traffic on my network using a FreeBSD router. The problem comes in, I think, from BT not connecting to remote peers using the ports specified in the [minport, maxport] range on the local side, forcing themselves out of the ALTQ rule, and ruining the prioritizing of traffic. I was wondering if anyone has a patch, or has a suggestion as to where I can look to convince BT to use one of the specified ports to bind to before connection to remote peers. |

It was tried already to do such binding, things didn't play nice. |
