No matter what client I use, I can't seem to download from anyone using Bittornado in a swarm.

The weird thing is, connection is maintained but nothing really happens. Occasionally, I'll be able to download at a maximum rate of 5kB/s before it drops back to zero. The process is repeated at varying intervals. The same thing applies when I try to upload to a Bittornado user. I have found this to be true on every tracker (public and private) whilst from all other clients, everything downloads/uploads with speeds I'd expect from a 6M connection.

I'm wondering if there is any software, hardware or XP settings conflict that could cause the problem specific only to Bittornado. I don't use a router and even when I disabled anti-virus, firewalls etc as a test, the problem still persists.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

Maybe it's your ISP. Try encryption (encrypted connections only).
