I've tried everything I know to do. Now I'm confused, I am pretty new to this after all. Any help would be great.

If you get this error only with a specific torrent, the tracker used by this torrent may be busy or down. You can find the tracker if you go to the Details within Bittornado. If you click the blue underlined text, it will open the tracker url in your browser, so you can see if the tracker is still running.

If this error only happens on trackers that don't specify a port or if the use port 80, but trackers with other ports do work, you are behind a transparent proxy.

If you get this error on every tracker (or only trackers not on port 80), something blocks the communiction between bittornado and the tracker, maybe a firewall.
