correct me if im wrong ,i normally im lol but isn't this a good thing? rehashing cant be a bad thing can it. if its checking for missing data ect that can only be good cant it?. eg ,if my pc crashed and bits of my data i downloaded got a little messed up then i resume a torrent without the hash check ,then im sending bad data out. the way it is now is that it will check first just to make sure that dont happen |

rehashes should only occur if you are downloading and it crashed but often when you're seeding you a complete copy it shouldn't |

Sorry, I'm a bit newb to torrents. Is rehashing = "checking existing data"? It only does this on mine when there's an improper shutdown of windows. I'm assuming it is, but I'd just like some affirmation of this, if possible. |
