correct me if im wrong ,i normally im lol but isn't this a good thing?
rehashing cant be a bad thing can it.
if its checking for missing data ect that can only be good cant it?.
eg ,if my pc crashed and bits of my data i downloaded got a little messed up then i resume a torrent without the hash check ,then im sending bad data out.
the way it is now is that it will check first just to make sure that dont happen

rehashes should only occur if you are downloading and it crashed
but often when you're seeding you a complete copy it shouldn't

Sorry, I'm a bit newb to torrents. Is rehashing = "checking existing data"? It only does this on mine when there's an improper shutdown of windows. I'm assuming it is, but I'd just like some affirmation of this, if possible.
