When i read that by default the upload_unit_size is equal to 1460 bytes, i think that's the MSS of a Ethernet Packet without Time Stamping.

In that case, in those 1460 is included the bt-header and the data packet?
But i have adsl and the mtu of the PPPoE is 1492 and i need change to 1452 to avoid fragmentation.

But think is free, if not, to me may cost too much money.

Thanks in advance.

That is the net total payload per write to the socket, which *should* send it in a single packet (no guarantees though).

Thanks, i know that the socket send more data at once, and that the tcp/ip transmit more packets, ack per example.

Then i'll put there a 1414 bytes to complete the ATM packets on adsl.
The question was if that is the 'data' (file data) or 'total' packet.

Thanks, i can now calculate.
