When i read that by default the upload_unit_size is equal to 1460 bytes, i think that's the MSS of a Ethernet Packet without Time Stamping. In that case, in those 1460 is included the bt-header and the data packet? But i have adsl and the mtu of the PPPoE is 1492 and i need change to 1452 to avoid fragmentation. But think is free, if not, to me may cost too much money. Thanks in advance. |

That is the net total payload per write to the socket, which *should* send it in a single packet (no guarantees though). |

Thanks, i know that the socket send more data at once, and that the tcp/ip transmit more packets, ack per example. Then i'll put there a 1414 bytes to complete the ATM packets on adsl. The question was if that is the 'data' (file data) or 'total' packet. Thanks, i can now calculate. |
